    Eeeek
Fogive me Father for I have sinned. It has been well over 14 months since my last journal entry.

    Bad Dobby!!!! Bad!!!!

    What is news to tell.

Well on the work front I am finally an SAP Consultant. It took me 5 and a half years from discovering the role to actually becoming one which i think is pretty damn great really.

I'm learning heaps and am totally enjoying wha I am doing as it's making me think on a whole new level.

Bought a Mazda Familia Astina (323 Fastback) Y-Reg (Must have been re-indexed as how can a 1990 model be a Y -Reg?)as an impulse buy on Trade Me last year. In Wellywood I might add so had to make a 12 Train Journey to pick it up and then drive back on The Desert Road in a Blizard to get it home. That was fun.

Am excited about my 4Go Silver Gen 2 iPod Mini I pick up next week. I figure there is no point in the 6Go model as I tend out move stuff about a lot anyway.

Well, can't think of anything else new just yet but updates will be more regular like from now on.

    Family Saloon: Volkswagen Passat TDi
Medium Saloon: Opel Vectra (or Karsten Wagner Volkswagen Bora at a mere 55000€)
    Medium Estate: Nissan Primera
Sports Estate: Toyota Avenssis or Audi A4 Allroad
    Small Hatch: Fiat Stilo Abarth
    Micro Car: Citroen C3 Pluriel
    Large 4WD: Volkswagen Touareg
    Small 4WD: Toyota RAV4

Zeesh, a lot or Euro Cars in there.

Amen!!! I was having a totally bog shite day yesterday when a work college forwards me a wee song called Eskimo by Cork & The Juice Pigs, a Canadian Musical Comedy Trio from the 90's.

    Sheer Brilliance!!! Respect!!!

Been flat out with work and values workshop facilitating. Very different kind of space for me, the ex Air Force, IT Geek but I am totally enjoying it.

Just found out that Andy Farley has been tentatively booked for the 23JAN04 at Cube. Woohoo, can't wait!!!

Also, asked for quotes today on next years trip. It is now Auckland - Jo'burg - Cape Town - Paris - New York - Chicago - Seattle - Auckland. New Years Eve in the Marais District. Mmmmmmmm, Boiz. Heh heh heh.

    Different Powerpoint Types
My cellphone just started to bleep at me!!! It's hungry you see. It needs power. So I ferreted out the charger for it and went to plug it into the power board.

Eeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr wrong!!!! Problem. A charger with one verticle top earth pin and two horizontal flat charge pins at the bottom just isn't going to go in. Hmmmmmm, I need the spacer that is currently being used by my 3 round pin CD Player Charger.

Now the logical thing here would be to buy another spacer or charger but the question does have to posed as to why?

Why is there no global standard for Power Outlets? Especially between the UK, RSA & NZ as we all use 3 pins of some desciption on 240V.

Anyway, something to ponder for a radom moment of time wastefulness.

T minus 1 month and counting
This morning I was greeted by an e-mail in my inbox from my esteemed work collegue, kindly reminding me that there was exactly one month today until my 30th Birthday.

    Bastardo!!!!

Hmmmmmmmmm, I've just decided to make a fundamental change to my Birthday Celebration Plans on the 13th December. Must go plan.

    Kafeien Vry Addiction
Is the above actually possible? Can one become addicted to a Caffine Free drink and if so, what is in it that is addictive?

I can't get enough of Rooibos Tea. I have Honey Rooibos at home and at work I have Lemon Rooibos (Freshpak even) and Vanilla Rooibos. The Vanilla is strong, 'I nearly pass out each time I open my desk draw' kind of strong.

    Murphy's Law
Well, it's always the way in'it!?!?!? You just come to terms with the fact that you're single and that you're quite happy to be so then what happens??????? "Why hello there! Why have I never seen you anywhere before?"

In short, I met a very nice lad at Salvation on Friday night (Like go figure, it being a Queer Dance Party and all, dah!!!) and he doesn't usually got to Flesh or Urge and prefers to go to Hard House Parties like Frantic and Nukleuz.

There is a god look out for me after all. Funny part is also, that I had convinced myself that I was the only Gay Guy in AKL who prefered these parties over the Queer Scene.

Anyway, so yeah, had a very nice Friday Night and Saturday Morning that involved no overt naughtiness which I really liked and I shall be seeing him again this week.

OK, this is sounding way to Mills and Boon. Time for me to dash home I me thinks.

    Tchuß!!!!

    Fame. OMG!!!!
After months of attending meetings at TVNZ, I walked in yesterday and this guy was walking out and looked at me and smiled. I thought he looked familiar and that I must have met him at somestage so did a rather loud, "G'Day Mate. Alright Yeah?"

He responded back totally friendly like and we both went on our separate ways.

Well it's just dawned on me that it was Poi Terei, comedian extradonaire. Doh!!! Explains why I thought he looked familiar then.

It funny how you start to recognise people in the business. I was doing front of house work for a friends play at The Pumphouse a while back and was chatting to a punter. He's like, "I've seen you before. You're in the Warriors advert, aren't you?" I'm like "Yeah, that's me." Then it suddenly occured to me that the person I was talking to looked familiar and that I actually recognised him from a Cadbury Nut Break advert with the Squirrell. Well Dodgy.

    Quandary
Well, when it rains it certainly pours!!!

I have to decided which play to Audition for.

On the 8th of Feb, Mairangi Players is holding auditions for Maurice Shadbolt's "Once on Chunuk Bair". The run will be mid to late April. The advantage here is that it is a military play. My RAAF experience and the fact that I was on cast for Tin Hats and Gas Masks will serve me well.

On the 15th of Feb, TDS (Torbay Dramatic) is having auditons for Alan Ayckbourn's "Reletively Speaking". This play will run late March to early April. The advantage here is that I am a member of TDS and and I know all the crew.

I feel I may be off to the Library to get both scripts then make my desicion from there.

    Touch
Well we lost but we're getting better. The score was 5-3 in the end.

After the game I cycled home via Epsom, Mt Eden, Kingsland and Morningside. It's a different route than I normally take so it was nice to do that.

A friend asked me this morning to join him on a trip to Cape Town next Christmas and up to his family farm in Stellenbosh. Mmmmmmmm, Wine Country. Am seriously tempted.

Mon Dieu. What has my life come to? I'm sitting here fully engrosed in Master Builders Home of the Year 2003 on TV ONE. If someone had of told me 10 years ago that one day I would be aspiring to meeting Mr Right, settling into our 4 Bedroom House in Browns Bay, with Rangitoto views of course, with his and his VW Passat's in the drive and 2.5 Jack Russels out the back, I would have laughed at them. Quite loudly too.

    Funny how we change.

Well I'm off to transfer phone numbers from one Cellphone to another. I've joined the two Cellphone Brigade. The work one on 027 Telecom and the personal one on 021 Vodafone.

Is your bed up on bricks???? Gotta watch those Tokolosshies!!! ;-)

    Salut!!!!!
Well here we are. My first entry. This is just a quick G'Day as I'm at work at the moment.

Off to play touch in the inter company comp at Cornwall Park this evening. Getting the hang of it pretty quickly which is an achievement for an Aussie Rules boy.

Apparently one of the teams in our time slot has Monty Betham on it!!!! Yeah right, lets go and play an amature game of touch against Monty Betham from The Warriors. As much as I'd love to win, the Practical Capricorn in me says we're gonna get creamed!!! But hey, it's all about the fun, right?

Anyway, work to do for now. Laters!!!!!
